Character Story:
Through the mist at the abandoned fairgrounds, a faint organ tune echoes. The notes sound off key, echoing like a distorted memory of a light-hearted melody. From the shadows, a pair of glowing eyes appear. As the music increases in volume, the globe bulbs stutter to life along the rails and structure of the carousel. The stage is alive, with Calliope at its center.
The glowing lights shimmer along the sea goat’s scales, captured and reflected as stars aligned in the night. They dance on the stage, coiled along their post, the glimmer of their elegant adornments a beacon amidst the dark. Calliope is different from the rest of the carousel mounts, an otherworldly glint in their eyes.
