▸Firmness

We currently offer four levels of firmness, all relevant to the standard Shore Hardness scale:

Super Soft - Approximately Shore Hardness 00-20, similar to a gummy. It's great for softening textures and girth.
Soft - Approximately Shore Hardness 00-30, similar to a gel orthotic. We typically recommend Soft as this is the most forgiving material that will stretch and squish while still maintaining its general shape once inserted.
Medium - Approximately Shore Hardness 00-50, similar to a firm gel cushion. Cosest to 'natural' hardness, it will hold to original shape and stature more than soft, while still giving a bit of squeeze and bend room.
Firm - Approximately Shore Hardness 10A, similar to a flexible rubber eraser. This is best when you don't want to be squeezing and maneuvering to achieve penetration, and it will also hold the shape of details and textures for a more intense feeling.

Please note: Firmness may vary slightly depending on the girth and details of each model, as well as differences from silicone manufacturing.
Rarely, they may feel a bit firmer or softer than expected. All toys will be accurately listed with the silicone firmness that they were created with.

▸What is Near Clear?

Near Clear is a platinum cure silicone like our usual material that is, as the name implies, nearly clear! It allows us to create unique pours utilizing transparency.

As this silicone is so clear and a bit more delicate than our usual silicone, it requires extra care to maintain its clarity. Take extra care with sharp objects and your nails, as it imprints easier. Near Clear toys will appear clouded after boiling; while this may fade over time, repeated boiling will reduce the clarity of the silicone permanently. While it is likely Near Clear toys will naturally lose clarity over its lifetime, we strongly recommend gentler cleaning methods with soap and water to prolong clarity.

Near Clear silicone is compatible with our similar silicone, which we will often mix to add visual interest and use on the base to prevent base bubbles and improve scratch resistance. Solid Near Clear toys will also feel closer to the next firmness - NC31 may feel a bit closer to Medium firmness (00-50) and NC45 may feel between Medium and Firm (10A).
